Project Information

I've been hanging around the lathe this weekend. Some spalted maple turnings, sorry I couldn't get the detail to come out real well on the pics. There is a knot through the norrowest part of the neck which broke during turning and had to glue it twice to get it to hold. I almost tossed it in the scrap box. These were finished with two coats of tung oil and then polished with the Beale Finishing/Polishing System.

Great turnings Doc. What tool did you use to hollow the vase? Thank you for sharing.
