Project Information
This bowl is made from some maple logs I received from my daughter which were harvested in a suburb of Orlando, FL. The logs were cut up into manageable sizes, wrapped in plastic and allowed to spalt. Now, three years later, I have been making bowls that have amazing spalting patterns. This lidded bowl is 7 inches in diameter by 4 inches high and is finished with satin lacquer.
