Project Information

Recently built a smoker and decided it needed an area to set a tray and some utensils. I had this 1-3/4" thick tongue and groove oak I salvaged from a historic building. It has threaded rod holding it together and is finished with a high temp clear coat(we will see how it holds up). Love the way it accents the steel.

I used the scraps on bottom so I can store the wood I use for smoking.

Thanks Pottz. You are welcome anytime. All the materials from this except for the expanded metal and the wheels was reclaimed. Made for a fun build. I am really happy how everything turned out. I did a couple of pork shoulders this weekend that turned out perfect.

since you have four picture slots open, some pics of the inside of that smoker? :) Nice work!
