Project Information

This is my most recent rose carving. It is smaller than my last at only about 7 inchs tall.
It is carved out of scrap wood that I had in my scrap box. The rose, sepals, leaves, thorn, and stem are all carved from Basswood and painted via airbrush with acrilic paints.
This one only took me about 12-15 hours compared to the larger one that took 30-40 hours. Guess I am getting faster with practice.
It took the 2011 First Place Premium Blue Ribbon at the Anoka County Fair in Minnesota this year.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking
