Project Information

This is an easy fun project that's popular in silent auctions for fund raisers. They kit/wheel hardware is available in magazines and on line.
I used scrap wood and a 1:5 mic of Minwax cherry and Thompson 's water seal for the finish. They recommend ebony but it seems too dark to me.
We like it so much, I made one for us too. It's the 5 th picture in the rock garden.

Nice ones, Jack. I was thinking of making a stage coach for our park. I wonder if they'd let me make a full sized one??

Nice one Jack. My boys saw something like this at the local produce stand and wanted to make one. Maybe this one.

Thanks for all the comments guys. There are three different plans. This is the smaller of two wheelbarrows the overall length from end of wheel to end of handles is just about 40". The larger wheelbarrow is about the size of one you'd get at HD. The third one is like a flower cart you might see in a mall with huge wheels.

Another super project Jack. One of those would look perfect in our strawberry bed that surrounds our flag pole. It could even be a neat planter.
Thanks for the ideas.
