What thickness did you make the top?

I do not have plans, I like to tinker in the shop and see where the wood takes me. The top is 3/4 inch thick, the sides are 1/2 inch thick, and the bottoms are 1/8 inch thick. the total length of the slits are 13 inches and were cut by lowering the piece against the fence on my table saw, I cut the cross slits on the tongues with my Dremel mounted in a router base. The musical staff was laid out using a french curve and the holes were cut with a 1/2 inch Forstener bit.

Plans for the slits would be good, as I made one the other day from scraps, which turmed out poorly. It was for
my wife to take to a "Drumming Party", where they sit around playing drums. She's 74 years OLD!
Refused to take it along, as it had really bad sound!
Made good kindling in the wood stove.
