This 10-22 belongs to a good friend of mine. He will probably be the only person who asks me to engrave a skunk on their rifle. To each his own, it was a lot of fun to engrave. I engraved a basket weave pattern over where the checkering would go and bordered everything with a scroll leaf pattern I also designed. His rifle was a bit beat up so I stripped down his old finish and re stained his stock with a red mahogany and I use "true oil" for my finish. He was very pleased with how it turned out. I must add, most people never noticed the skunk paw print on the bottom until it was pointed out.
