Project Information

The owner of the gallery where I show my work politely suggested that I get a business card holder. I kinda liked the look of a random pile of cards, but I said I'd pick one up.
And then I thought I'd make one.
And so I did.

This one's autobiographical in that I grew up as the middle brother in a family with three boys.
I'm the dark-blue guy in the middle. I go through life a little … differently.

Picasso went through many periods in his long career, and now I'm stuck in my Dynamo Men Lamps w/ Vintage Lego Gears Period. Could be worse.

The gears were made by Samsonite from 1965 thru 1970 and discontinued in 1971 when some genius decided they were too sophisticated for children - bad call.

You can watch the video, if you'd like, here …

John, I was waiting for a business card to pop out when I saw these guys cranking the wheels. I guess you did make this simple. Lol. Very cool, it fits you.
I noticed the guy in the middle is bald, are you not telling us something?

So, you are a middle kid…explains a lot. Walking to your own drum. I like it! Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely way to say it! Much nicer than "odd man out".

John, I can't think of a more appropriate way to display your business cards.

Curious thing watching that video, at one instance the lead cranker looks like he is cranking backwards from the other two then when the view changed the middle one seems to be going backwards.

However, I was waiting for some card action too!

Nice job John, keep "turning" them out!

It might be wise to forget the ejecting cards John. I doubt prospective clients want to play 52 pickup. I see the middle guy working in an opposite way (read creative).
