Good to see you making in the shed Ken. While the opener and stopper are beautiful, they'd be poorly used in out "tea total" household.

Nice opener for a great beer. You'll have to explain this cats getting into beer thing. I have naively been trusting my cats not to play in my beer.

My cats, Poplar and Teak, seem to enjoy the aroma of hops a barley. If I leave a beer in reach, which is just about anywhere in the shop, one of them is certainly going to stick their nose in my beer. They are long hair cats. Need I say more?

Apparently your cats have some manners. Mine live in the detached shop. They Own the place and have zero manners.

They think I am just the food delivery guy.

I guess for you, Mr. Crowe - it is a teabag retrieval device.

Thanx for the post, it reminds me how long it's been since I had a porter. The sawdust stopper could be the best idea that's come out of this site. I'd hate to think what the 2 tree rats (Fang & Bride of Fang) that share their shop with me would be like high on Black Butte!

First, nice looking handle on your opener. Second, it those things were in my shop, I would be more worried about my walnuts than my beer. But you just never know.

Mine occasionally have the same problem. However, sometimes, not so much now days. The stopper comes in handy.
