Project Information

Made eight of these game boxes for Christmas; seven for children, and one for the friend who donated the broken down oak table which was the source of wood - that one has the original finish on top with the coffee cup burn mark. The other boxes had different woods on the top. I completed each six sided box then cut the lids off on the table saw. Even had the foresight to number each pair so that they didn't get mixed up. My wife did the pyrotechnic work, burning the numbers and dots on the dice. She also installed the felt and some cards with rules of the game on the completed boxes. Fun project, but I'm done with box joints for while.

I've made a couple of these, but I always make them using numbers 1-12. Why do these only go to 9?
