Flocking is a good idea, but the store won't sell me any, Not an essential item. Hopefully soon. Happy new year to you!

Nice job. Be careful and wax the heck out of it, often times the more enclosed a tool is the more susceptible it will be to oxidation. That is too nice a tool to go rusty.

Yes I was concerned about that. I have already waxed it and I was thinking of putting one of those silicon beed packets in the box with it.

HA HA…...my name is Rodrick not Norm! However the real Norm Abrams has been my idol since I was a young kid and I could never come close to his skill, but nevertheless I watched him on PBS every chance I got. Your lucky to know him. I wish Norm and you well.

p.s. if you are thinking I am Norm because of the picture I have chosen. Then I am led to believe you are a dog who likes wood working LOL!!!

Rodrick, you do look a lot like norm! Norm made me go out and buy a real table saw and then just about every other tool he used on the show! Good one on Pottz he could be a DAWG. I even bought the big honking Omni Jig from Porter Cable , no longer selling it, but i love it.

My favorite line in all the shows "what's a Dutchman? IT"S A PATCH!"

BTW I want that plane, and I think your box is very cool.

Thanks gentlemen! Boy did I laugh this morning when I reached the top 3. What a honour to be picked again. Norm made me go out a buy lots of tools to make the job easier and quicker. But still I have a lot to learn. What a fun hobby! As long as i enjoy it I will keep doing it. Not sure but I think there was an episode where norm flocked or maybe it was gold leaf?

Thanks for the compliment. Maybe I should do a review on the shoulder plane. I really like it. Never owned one before. It was a nice present from my wife this Christmas. So far I recommend it!

Wow that's great. I actually like the vintage quality look of that.
