Shorewood, this is a nice upgrade to your saw that should improve its functionality. The fence has always been the weakest part of this saw line and the delta T2 is a solid upgrade. It should be a real pleasure to use from now on.

Hi Shorewood, I'm new to the forum and haven't posted my shop yet. It looks like your saw is the Rigid TS242, is it? That's what I have. I really like the fence that you put on your's. Was it a problem mounting the new rails? I'm considering that upgrade as well and want to hear from folks who have made the jump. How is it working out. Is it worth the $$$?

Hi Dryfly,
The saw is an older craftsman but don't fret.
The install was dry fit with clamps , center punched , drill-pressed, then counter sink heads. BAM!!
Now you will have a brand new saw. I loved that saw after doing that change,YES IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY !!!!
