Project Information

Using eight hardwood scraps (from an old chair seat), a bit of epoxy glue and few standard hardware pieces I was able to build myself those four handy clamps. And no way they will mar my projects as C-clamps do !

I could have used nuts and wing-nuts (shown on photo #5) to set and tighten them down, but because of my old arthritis hands I felt better making my own comfortable knobs to apply required clamping pressure without any pain.

I hope you will like them. Thanks for looking.

For all construction details and more photos, check this page of my blog.

Best,

Serge

Great tools you made there!
Enjoyed reading the very detailed blog and liked the part about the chair, "full of possibilities" as you said.

Thank you all guys for your comments. I'm glad you like them.
I forgot to say that three coats of shellac have been applied, reason why they're so nice besides being handy.

Note: Close to Veterans Day, I stand up to thank all veterans reading these lines and in memory for all who give their life for us to be free !

Best,

Serge

Bom Dia. Estou começando na Marcenaria agora e gistei de suas sugestões. Com certeza vou consultar seu projeto e fazer alguns grampos para mim. Moro no Rio de Janeiro- Brasil.
obrigado por compartilhar suas ideias!
