Project Information

About a year ago a friend of mine who knows I enjoy making jigs asked me to make a shooting board for him. At the time, I wasn't even sure what that was. Anyway, jump forward a year. After an ugly prototype I made this. Used birch ply with padauk trim and a spalted maple block for the whatever you call that part. Not sure if it actually counts as a project but I think it turned out ok. I kept the original ugly one

I've had a shooting board to clean up 45 degree cuts on my to do list for a long time. Always complain to myself when I could use one, but the job gets done and it fall off my attention span. Maybe you will motivate me.
