Shoe Rack - Modular

Wow, neat design and build. I like the modular configuration, looks very nice. One question though, the photos appear to show the shelves as constructed with the frame & panel method: how did you do that?

The shelves are actually single sheet ply. I actually routed out the recess rather than building frame + panel. Rather than using a ledger board to hold shoes, this was a good method of resolving that while also showcasing the layering of the ply - or deferring to the material to devise a solution.
