Nice job, I'm very fortunate to have a wife that does not collect shoes. ;-)

I bet a person could make a decent living just making shoe racks for the ladies!

I don't know of too many ladies don't collect shoes. I did one for my sister in law a while back. She had over a hundred pairs of shoes!

All in boxes, all organized by styles and color. She may have set up a database to track them down for use with a particular outfit.

never too many!

Ok.. here's the thing about shoes. Most females endure the lovely side affect of being a woman of having fluctuating weight on a regular basis. Just another one of the joys we have to live with.
But.. regardless of the size of pants you have to put on for the day your shoes always fit (well, unless you are 8 months pregnant and that "truth" goes right out the window as well).

We can always count on our shoes. We love our shoes.

Now that I went back and really looked at the project I see you made it with naughty pine.

(Sorry)

Hmmm . . . quick and cheap.

I popped into my mechanic the other day and he had a sign on the wall. It said: We do three types of work here . . . Quick, Cheap and Good . . . you can pick any two.

Throttle . . . it appears that you may have reached all three.

Wow… Nice job! So I'm not the only guy doing these! Just this May I built a rack for shoes for friends of ours. "Mike" goes to many garage sales and flea markets and picks me up old tools he thinks I might be interested in so I returned a favor. The rack holds about 24-30 pair as well. They, like us, are shoeless indoors. They love it. I used plywood and edge trimmed the face.

So, Throttle. Do you have the plans for the rack that holds 50 pair. That's the one I need. I guess I could do it myself, but thought you may already have it drawn out and…...... Nice job. Thanks for the post.

One thing we all have toooooooo much of…. SHOES….
One thing we all don't have enough of…...... SHOE RACKS….
I have 2 different shoe racks in my garage and a set of them in my coat room and still…. not enough room to store them all…. garage sale time I suppose….

Good work on this project… your sister must be very happy (of course probably only enough room to store half her shoes right?) lol
