Grand daughters first birthday party preparations included this shoe bench. They don't allow shoes in the house but had no place to take off or put on shoes. For that matter store the shoes.
I had extra white oak ( my favorite wood for furniture) and a holiday break. Turned out pretty well, completed in 1 1/2 days to this point. Brandon ( the Dad) gets to finish sand and stain.
