Project Information

Last year I took a class with John Wilson a master at making shaker boxes (somewhat local to my area Charlet Mich.) who's has been doing his trade for quite a few years now ( I believe he is in his 70's). Here is my first attempt at a nest of boxes. They are made out of cherry with either cherry lids or quarter sawn elm lids. I couldn't take a picture but they all nest into the largest box.

Wow. Really nice boxes. Somewhere I have a little bag of nails/tacks for making these that I bought a couple years ago. I really need to try making one.
Great job.
