My wife recently joined a quilting guild and would be attending a local workshop.
She requested a small platform to fit around her sewing machine to assist her with her various sewing projects while she away from home.
So I quickly threw this together which worked out nicely.
I threw on a quick coat of wax to allow material to slide smoothly and she was very happy with the result.

She did have me cut the slots in the sides though because she thought it was a little awkward to carry.
Anyways, 'happy wife, happy life' works for me.

Wow - looks great. You may be making more when others see this at the workshop!

Nicely done, that's thinking outside the box, and the end results are better than one that can be purchased. Well Done
