Project Information

I made this serving tray from some left over mahogany that came from a desk I made, and some scrap maple. I resawed the wood on the bandsaw to get thin strips for the bottom panel, and used 3/4" thick pieces for the sides. The sides with handles are maple and the front and back are mahogany. I used Minwax Red Chestnut stain on the entire tray, and finished it with Arm-R-Seal. The wife loved it!
