I made 6 of these bowl for '07 Christmas presents. Cherry with walnut accent stripes. I saw plan for routed bowls in one of the popular magazines and my wife kind of liked the looks of the round ones but said that they had to be deeper. I said ok, but i didn't like the way the plans were as there was to much waste by glueing up solid material and then routing it out so i dicided to segment them and then route. Alot more work than I expected but it was well worth it.
