sculpted maloof side table in claro walnut

I wanted to make a side table for my bastogne walnut Rocker (also in my projects section ) . I went through a few of my claro walnut slabs and found one for the base and one crotch slab for the top. Again I apologize for the photo quality. At the time of these photos I had put on two coats of waterlox. I arrived at 6 thin wiped on coats of waterlox and buffed the top out to 4000 grit.
