Project Information

I wanted to make a side table for my bastogne walnut Rocker (also in my projects section ) . I went through a few of my claro walnut slabs and found one for the base and one crotch slab for the top. Again I apologize for the photo quality. At the time of these photos I had put on two coats of waterlox. I arrived at 6 thin wiped on coats of waterlox and buffed the top out to 4000 grit. Not at that point. I wet sanded the coats and the pores are mostly filled by the time wax is being applied.

Pottz . Thank you so much that's the finest compliment I've received ! I've only been at this roughly 2 years and it's a hobby so I have a lot to learn. I'm sure my work will improve ! I'm gonna add a picture of the slab I cut the crotch from. I think I got enough crotch left from the leftovers.i have a few more completed projects to post so keep your eyes peeled :)

I love crotch wood, and that is amazing. Well crafted too.

Probably the only forum that statement does not make me a pervert.

That table and chair are awesome.
