Project Information

I was talking to my dad about some hamburgers I cooked on cedar planks. Long story short, he didn't think I should waste them. So I tried this. Nowhere near perfect, but it's my first time of doing this much work on my scroll saw. I'm pleased with it. I might do some finish work on it, but I haven't decided, so I'll leave it as is for now. I learned a lot, and that matters.

I'd say that turned out pretty darn nice!

That turned out real nice but you could still use any cedar scraps to cook your burgers by putting them in a pan for smoking and use your griddle to cook them on .

Nicely done, Trey! Even a simple oil finish would really bring out the color in the cedar. Just look at the color the hamburger grease brought out! Heeheehee. Thanks for sharing.
