Thanks man. I was just thinking this week that I needed to find a way to store my blades. You just made my day. I think I'll make one too. Thanks for this timely post. Oh by the way, where did you get the tubes to hold the blades?

Hey CabinetMaster - Once I presses "Post", I just knew someone would ask.. ;-)

I ordered them from Wildwood Designs (link to product) if the link goes bad in the future… Search for "Extra Blade Storage Tubes" Item number "T200"

One thing i did not mention… I was originally gonna drill 4 rows of 6 holes, and my fair lady suggested I stagger the holes. Well needless to say, that was a great idea, as it makes the labels much easier to see…

SgtSnafu,
Nice job on the blade storage and organization. I especially like the way you staggered the heighth of the tubes for better visibility. I'm using the same type plastic tubes that I purchased at Sloans for my blades. I built a box some time back to put all my tubes in. The box is in my projects as well. What I don't like about my box is solved with your design however. I'm afraid you may have just made more work for me, in that I've got to get my blades in a position similar to yours now! Great design, Keep on Keeping on!

Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis
