Floor mats look comfortable too. Do you have saw dust issues with them?

Yes , I am lucky. That assembly table was my old outfeed table when I worked out of my garage. I now rent space which allows me more room and a dedicated shop. The floor make for a comfortable day and saves tools and projects if dropped. They are 3' x 3' mats which interlock, sold at Tractor Supply. They do hold sawdust and need periodic disassembly and clean up.

did one myself a while back.i made mine with mahogany also then painted white.post a pic when it's hung.

I think everybody who has fatigue mats has the same dust buildup under them issue, however it beats standing on concrete for hours,especially if all your weight is on one leg, ... not sure how four go, ... got to be still more comfortable either way.

And yes that's a nice assembly table!
Better throw a cover over those systainers and Vac in case LBD spots them!

How do you plan on attaching your screen? I just made a door myself and decoded to staple in my screen and put a faux cover to hide the staples

I set the door up with a rabbet to staple the screen to, and made strips (screen bead or stop) to fit the plow and cover the screen and staples. This is an old technique which still works fine. I did set up the door with 2 separate panels. My client has a dog, so that's why the vertical slates in the lower panel. I am also using heavy duty pet resistance screen. It should hold up better and if rescreening is necessary, hopefully it is contained to one panel.

when i did mine i just used a 3/16 straight bit and routed a groove then i just used regular screening spline to attach the screen.then i put a piece of trim over that to cover.when i need to replace i can remove the trim and replace the screen like you would a normal screen door.

Nice door, and I get that you are painting the door to match the house, but I shutter to think that you would paint a wood as pretty as sapele. Take a pic after its finished and up

I have worked on homes where the entire house was sided and trimmed in sapele, then painted. I agree though, too pretty to paint but , I choose sapele for its weather resistant properties and cost. I will follow up with a painted door photo.

My wife and I made a screen door much like this. It is lovely.
