I just can't toss pretty wood. I have boxes and boxes of cutoffs. This is one nice use for that gorgeous wood too small for another project. Got the idea from an old Woodworker's Journal article by Marlen Kemmet (Dec. 2017). And if you're the type that frets over a few thousands of an inch to make the perfect fit, this project will satisfy that urge. My shooting board gets a workout on these projects.
