Saw Swap 2014 was a lot of fun and a great learning experience to make
your own saw and or repurpose a saw.

If your thinking about a new saw, why not make your own. Go through
the above thread and have a look see.

Special thanks to Hammberthumb for a back up saw in case it was needed,

and to ErikF for providing members with saw kits at fair prices.

Make your own and support your fellow Lumber Jocks.

I used Zebrawood and a kit from ErikF to make my saw and it turned out
pretty good.

I soaked the handle in shellac and then used Antiquax Lavender Wax Polish
to finish the metal and Zebrawood.

Thank you for the great Saw Swap of 2014 :)

Thank you Bob and your valuable input helping others made the
saw swap that more enjoyable. You have a great skill set in the
half back saw that Norm received and we know he's still grinning.
Great job Bob and thanks again for helping out.

Thanks for the compliment Gshepherd, the mallets you turn are
awesome and inspirational.

I appreciate your kind words HillBillyShooter and congrats on your
Daily Top 3 award for your Auxiliary TS/Router Fence and FB Rail!
This is great:
