Project Information

Here's a new Santa carving. The carving part is finished and thought the pics would be reflective seeing it without paint. It's in basswood and it's 9" high. I chose the old world look and decided on a cane for an older look. I'm contemplating a dijon mustard yellow jacket but I'm being told traditional red would be best. The pick that inspired this carving has a sage green jacket. Still thinking.

Great carving! Amazing amount of detail throughout. I think it would look best with a darker red color.
