Project Information
Got tired of storing too much sandpaper in a drawer, having to dig for everything, and never being able to really see what I was about to run out of. I'd rather spend money making projects for outside the shop look nice, so the plan was to make this on the cheap.
Had a quarter sheet of MDF I spilled varnish on, and figured that was enough for the bottom, sides, and top, if I left a little gap on each side. Picked up 4'x4' of 3/16" hardboard for the shelves, and slot-cut the MDF to fit the shelves using the tablesaw.
Biscuit joints to make the glue-up easy, and two hours later, voila, sandpaper shelf.

The second picture is about two weeks later; I realized I could use some scrap dowels to make pegs to hang tape on, so it's now the sanding and taping storage center.
