Project Information

Nothing fancy. Just a tray to keep all my sand paper in. Prior to this, I basically had a pile, through which I would dig to find what I needed. This pile would usually end up on the floor where I would just step over it. Quite pathetic. I finally decided to do something about it. Found some scraps and cut them up. Didn't measure much. Just eyeballed it to fit a stack of sand paper.

This is my first post in quite a while. This post isn't meant to inspire awe. It's more so just to make me feel like I'm doing something again. I have been working on this Murphy bed for a friend for a few months and it's been a real drag. The wife and kid were out of the house when I got home, so I took an hour and made myself a sand paper tray. Booyah.

And a damn fine sandpaper tray it is, my friend. Function deserves it's day in the sun too. Some of the coolest things I've made or seen receive a "what in the hell is that?" upon first sight, but when you explain the function, "that's awesome!". Anyways, glad to see you back in the spirit. Come to think of it, I've been stepping over a lot of sandpaper myself lately. Guess it's time for a little mental floss. Great project!

Nice project. My sandpaper is in file folders with the grit # on a corner. 30 yrs US Navy taught me about paper work. Who's the brain!!!!!
