What a great idea! I'd like to see one with darker trim to accent the different woods even more. I like the latchwork. Very ingenious. (Jeeesh, another project for my list of "Want To Do's".)

What type of wood is the sample in the 1st photo, Right side of case, #4 from the left (Red & Brown)? Can you give us a list of all of the woods on that side of the case? (6 samples pieces)

Beautiful wooden briefcase indeed.
Your are right Johan, the first impression is the crucial marketing strategy does better than advertisement and usually last longer.
You remind me this tagline at a noodle stall in my place "tell your friends if you're happy with our food, tell me if you're not".

Good luck!

The woods from left to right
1)Terblanche wood. very scarce out of the Knysna forest
2)Milkwood
3)White alder
4)Kiaat
5)Lemonwood
6)Camphor
It took me about 3 weeks to do inbetween my other work, I changed the inside a few weeks ago to fit my new jewellery range of boxes.
