Project Information

Last week, I posted pictures of the stuff I did on Christmas vacation. People asked for detailed shots of the grinders. Here they are, I keep them mostly straight lines since there is so much character in the teak I use. I do 2 lines for the salt and 3 for the pepper. I cut a recess in the top that the bottom fits into.

Thanks, I did 5 salad bowls, a dozen salt boxes and 3 sets salad spoons/forks and 3 other sets of grinders. And I still have my day gig.

Nice work. That is some very pretty wood, and I like the simple shape, with the burned lines.
Where did you get the kits for the grinders from? I keep debating whether I could make one on my spring pole lathe, may try one day.
