Project Information

Here is a rustic table I recently made for stock. Built from 2" thick reclaimed old growth material salvaged from Chicago rehab projects. The legs are made from a 3.75" barn post. Everything held together with mortise and tenon joinery, and finished with 3 coats of EmTech 8000cv.
Simple table that people seem to like!

Nice well built table, Salvage is my second name. A real sense of accomplishment making things out of wood etc. that would have been discarded. |I do alot with salvaged steel. Check out my lathe, two posts back.

Very cool. I'm making my own table similar to this soon so I appreciate this.
How did you attach the top?
