Project Information

My take on a crotch table with the required butterfly inlays. I decided to give it a modern touch with the rotated triangles as legs. It is definitely a conversation piece. The triangles attach to the crotch by mating slots. Not a nail or screw in the entire table. I added a wider foot to the pointed leg to add stability to the piece. The points of the triangles also have walnut inlay as an added touch. The triangles are made out of wormy maple adding to the rustic look.

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Yeah, I wanted to tie the maple triangles in and figured three was a good number to reference the sides of the triangles and the ends of the crotch y. Thanks for the comment

Great job!

Now the matching cribbage board will be a real accessory and accent to that beautiful table.

What a NEAT concept - if there's such a thing as a double grand slam, we are looking at it in this table

Great job, not just creativity but execution as well
