I have occasionally been accused of making things too solid… I like having some furniture that I don't have to baby all the time. Some of my other living room furniture is a little too gracile and others are antiques. This is the one I can pound a beer bottle on while watching the tube.

Welcome to LJ's and the project is stunning. Great job. I've never seen any 3" thick cedar before. OH by the way….............this site can be addictive.

Good looking table, I have some leftover cedar from some raised vegetable beds that just might end up as patio furniture. Grandkids won't hurt that table.

That's one sturdy looking coffee table well done.
