Project Information

I am building a new shop this coming spring and have been waiting to do so my entire adult life. My best buddy Woodman88 is helping me along with the build and here is the first tool for my dream. It is a router cabinet that we built using a MLCS top a 3 and 1/4 hp Triton router a woodpeckers insert a Jessem fence and roller guides with dust collection. The cabinet is all solid red oak with ball bearing drawer guides. This is my first project I am posting on Lumber Jocks. Many more to come.

I've been wanting that same router for a long time, because of the above-table height adjustment. Congratulations!
Did you follow a particular set of plans for the cabinet, or modify for yourself?

Looks like a Woodpeckers insert. Correct? Which MLCS top is this? Also, how did you make the insert fit it? MLCS website lists a custom size for their cutouts which makes it sound like only their items will fit.

I miss quoted the top. I bought that top on Infinity and they sell it to fit a woodpeckers insert. Make sure to pay attention to what insert fit your router as they have different options. Yes MLCS has their own inserts for their own tables.

Mr. Poplar,
I know that it has been awhile since you posted your router table, but is there anywhere that I might get the plans?

Thanks for looking at the table guys.
Sandy this table was version two of a cabinet prototype my buddy Woodman88 built. There are no plans we built it in a couple days on the fly.
