Project Information

I made this Router Table in 2012 to replace a Grizzly 1035 1.5HP Shaper that I sold. For the woodworking I do, the Router Table made more sense and I also wanted a larger table to work on. It has a Porter Cable 7518 Variable Speed 2.25HP motor, an Incra lift system and a Kreg fence. I made it similar to Norms Router Table but changed things some to fit my needs. The three drawers on the left side are for 1/4" and 1/2" router bits, as are the bottom two drawers on the right side. The top right drawer is for access to the electrical. The bottom larger drawers are for storage. The picture doesn't show it but there's a 2" port for dust collection on the back of the fence and a 4" port for dust collection for the router area. Both dust collection ports come together to make a single 4" port that attaches to my dust collector. Works great!

Looks good, I'm planning to do the same thing. I have a Jet shaper that I am going to replace with a router table also. I'd keep the shaper but I just don't have enough room.
