Workshop Information

My wood shop is very limited as I have only recently gotten interested in the last couple of years. I have a room in my garage, 8X14 112 sqf, which was my little machine shop. Some of my equipment is in this room, the rest is scattered in the rest of my garage. My wife wants her car in the garage but would have to rename it "Car Shed".
The first photo is one end of my shop the second is the other end. The third is my drill press and metal saw just outside my shop door and the fourth is another bench at the rear of the garage.

Looks nice, but in pic #4 isn't the A/C mounted backwards?

I once heard some girls say "It aint what you got, it's how you use it".....

And your space doesn't appear to be so crammed with "stuff" that you cant move around.

So WELCOME to LJs…

Hi Mike, Thank you for your response and welcome. The little things above the Craftsman box are baggies containing bushings for pen making. Each set is in its own baggie, is labeled with dimensions and which pen kit they belong to. They are threaded on shower curtain hooks and hung on a rod. Not my original idea but from someone on International Association of Penturners.

In my business career I owned a printing and graphic arts company. In my art department we used to make many presentation slides when oil was big in the 80's. We created the art and made the slides on a slide duping camera. I took the bulk film to a processing lab. The would supply me with 35mm canisters. They used to be aluminum of which I still have a few and also plastic ones. I hoard them. They are so convenient for small parts.
