Project Information

I bought this at a garage sale for $10 with the idea to maybe repaint it. Then I saw the wood underneath and just had to restore it. The wood was solid with no rot and it folded up too. So I started sanding it(with the help of the kids) and then dismantling it to sand the other parts of the wood. Then as it was in pieces I traced the parts so that I could make one from scratch someday. As it got smoother with every sanding I finally started to seal it with a Spar Urethane and replaced all the screws. I think it came out pretty amazing. It may have been my best garage sale buy ever.

Nice save. A new and better life without that paint! I'd say it's worth way more than ten bucks now.
