Project Information
This project took every tool and skill that I had. It all starts with a level and square kick base. Add cabinets, bar top, booze shelves and stem glasses canopy and it's done. The shell and cabinet cases are a dark, wood grained melamine. The bar top, shelving face, raised panel cabinet doors and canopy facing are Iroko which is an African hardwood. The canopy is fitted with about 20 downlights which really highlight the hardwood bar top at night. Iroko is a darkish wood that machines well but you must wear a mask when working it…..nasty stuff!! It actually becomes darker over time with exposure to oxygen. The feature pic is of me (center) and the two owers just before their opening.
