Project Information

I found an old Butcher knife and decided to change the handle with some wenge I had laying around. I was just playing around with regrinding the blade. I didn't have any power tools I cut it with a handsaw and sanded the crap out of it. I think is turned out ok for just whittling.

Thank You. I also set a blade in the antler but there was no wood involved so I didn't post it.

How did you set the blade in the wood, glue, epoxy?

You might want to try riveting the handles on some of these knives. A heavy piece of copper wire makes a great rivet.

I carved a recess area in the handles and glued then in with expoxy. Nothing fancy just keeping it simpe.
