I made this butchers block for my wife for Christmas. It's I'd 85% recycled. I bought the oak legs. I found the wood for the block in a home remodel. It took about six weeks for everything to set. It is hard as a rock. My brother in law did the art work he is a very talented and established artist in our area. The ink is water based. And I coated the block with a conditioner then beeswax. About 6 times. That took about six days.
