Project Information

I designed and built this desk for a customer in Blue Ridge Georgia. The design was influenced by the open slat designs of corn cribs. This desk features a 2" thick top with a rough, live edge front. There is a drawer on the left side for storage and space underneath for a computer tower. The table top also have a pull out keyboard tray mounted to the under side. The whole piece is coated with danish oil and sealed with a topcoat of a satin polyurethane.

All reclaimed barn wood…..Most is southern pine, and a slat or 2 of reclaimed poplar and oak

I don't see a wood rescue as much as I see some innovative thinking and foresight, not to mention some impressive execution

Did I make my point that I like it -
