Perfect recipe boxes for them and hope they have them filled up quickly. This must be the lasering you mentioned. I shouls look into seeing if there's a place near me that does it. It gives off a personnel touch.
Did you get that info on the brand stamp and ink?

Cool little boxes JJ.

Next time, for youngies as a gimmick, put a glass lid on the box, slip in a Macka's voucher and engrave below the Recipes text, "In case of emergency, break glass!"

Nicely done Jim, and yes glad to hear that there are still some folks out there that like to cook. Didn't think recipe boxes were used anymore though.

You really like those locking miters. I should probably look into those a little closer.

Thanks for all the nice comments on the recipe boxes. I just want to say that I spotted that black smudge in the inside of the lid in the left box in the 3rd photo and fixed it. There was some black spot on my rubber glove that melted into the BLO.

Hi Dave. I have not ordered the rubber stamp yet and Ken (LJ kposty) says he can laser rubber so he may be making a custom stamp for me.

Hi Lew, Ashley says she has a lot to fill it with already. She it really getting into cooking.

Hi Eric. That lock miter is my GO TO joint for boxes any more. Very strong joint. And I have made a few jigs to hold the parts for consistent cuts.

Hi Dick. Ashley is 27 and Sabina is 24.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone….............Cheers, Jim

These should inspire the young cooks. Will they be helping with the thanksgiving day meal?

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Jim.

Maybe you should have included some dish washing liquid and a dish towel with the boxes. :)

I help cook and wash dishes too.
Love Thanksgiving not some much washing dishes.
