Wood And Materials Used
QSWO
Coffee table I just finished to match the other pieces I have done. I could have done better with the grain matching but overall I think it turned out pretty good. Based on a Woodsmith plan. I changed the dimensions, opted for wider stretchers/top rails. On 5his build I decided to use 100% dowel joinery 38x28x17. Here's a link to build pictures.

I took a look at the process photos, and I have two questions:
1. What triggered the Sawstop? 😬
2. Are you concerned at all with wood movement on the bottom shelf, given that the dowels lock that large panel in place? Or is that plywood?

Really pretty wood choices. I also like that tabouret in the background.

The sawstop. I said I would never be that guy..... Working tired, installed a dado, didn't adjust my miter gauge.

The bottom shelf is attached to cleats. The holes in the cleats are over sized. Hopefully oversized enough. 🤞

Nicely done. Love the QSWO. Do you have room for the sofa table variation of this design? I made that table a few years back. Anyway, good job and thanks for all the build pics...

Ah, I'm not sure how I missed the photo of the cleats the first time. Thanks for the clarification.
