Project Information

These are some raised garden beds I made for the wife. Pretty simple design, there is (4) 8'x4' boxes around a small octagon herb garden in the middle. It is all made of 8/4 cedar planks with one live edge for looks. It is nice to have a Woodmizer LT40 to cut my own slabs to do this kind of work. The pictures of us milling are some older pictures that I took when we were milling up some cedar fence boards.

I like the fact that you kept the live edge, now lets see what she can grow.

Martyroc,

That is so funny that you commented on my post! Your bench/picnic table project you did inspired me to build some of them for around my fire pit. I'm milling up the cedar to build them this weekend.

One of my best friends has a mill exactly like yours. As your photos show, it does a great job….. It's always "good" to have a friend with a saw mill.
