Project Information

A Charter School in my area, Asked me if I could assemble a Raised Bed Flower Bed. For the kids to learn about gardening. They had purchased most of the wood. I bought the rest required and proper screws to assemble it. Took about 4 hours to put it all together. It is 4 foot wide x 20 foot long x 2 feet high. A swimming pool company is going to donate the dirt to fill this unit. I hope the kids can learn and pass it on to their kids. Its been a while since I have posted a project. I have been busy working. But think everyday how fun it would be to wood working. Happy Memorial Day to all you ! ! Thank you for all that have served our great Country.

Well done. Good cause, I remember as a kid planting seeds and watching them sprout. Even today when I plant my vegetable garden- working in the dirt, planting the seed and waiting for them to sprout is great experience. Not to mention eating the fresh produce.

Great job for a greater cause. I'm sure the kids will learn the value of planting and will have a great experience through your well built flower beds.
