nice cabinet. I have almost the same cabinet, but fixed. My old saw doesn't see much action any more either. But I would never get rid of it, it was my first big saw. Good job.

Old school, I remember using my dads as a kid. Good times! Nice project.

I also have my dads old RAS in my shop and I use it all the time. Nice stand. I like the cut off storage under it.

I also have my dad's old RAS, and about the same vintage. I'm looking for a more functional cabinet to build and put under it than the one it came with. You have build the idea I'm looking for. Thanks for posting!

I like the stand. I'm in process of revamping the layout of my shop (aren't we all?) and I like this idea. I actually picked up a 1976 Craftsman 10" RAS for free about 6 months ago. It cuts nice and true. I currently have it where I used to have my miter saw mounted. I like the RAS better because I can get longer cross cuts. I've yet to use it for anything other than to fill the functions I used to use my miter saw for.

The plans for this are from ShopNote, issue #16. I made some modifications.

Guys,

I just found this site and registered. I am interested in the radial arm saw stand by LAD and I thought this was a site where I could buy project plans. Are there plans available for this stand or do I draft it up myself?
