Project Information
This is part 2 of my R4511 TS extension. I still have to drill the holes in the front and back angles to mount it and round over the edges but heres my storage concept solution!
One problem i tried to solve is when i am using my TS i always have pencils, tape measure, wrenches, etc sitting on the top and always in the way….. so i designed the left extension to keep these things out of the way. the top is removeable to access my tools… but i can also have a flat surface if needed. you can see in the closeups that i added adjustment screws to level it perfectly to the TS surface and rounded over the bottom edges so that it slides into place easier since it fits snug!
My original plan was to make the box about 12 inches deep and add a compartment to store TS blades…. but i have a new plan to build a seperate cabinet that will sliide under the TS to hold TS blades, Router bits and other tools . i will post part 3 when that cabinet is finished.
Let me know what you think!
