Project Information

This was something I threw together for a friend of my wife. I had specific dimensions for a printer table in a co-worker's office. The top is some walnut I had around the shop. The legs are some leftover spindles from our front porch and the rest is scrap lumber (that's why the bottom is painted). The apron was put together with pocket screws and the legs have diagonal braces underneath with a notch to receive the edge of the spindle. This adds a lot of rigidity. The top has several coats of antique oil finish.

Looks good. I'm not sure how you got that color with walnut, but it looks good with the paint. Simple project I like it.

It loks nice but I too feel like an arranged marriage between top and bottom. It's like they just have been used as that was all that was at hand otherwise a lovely little table. Alistair
